I promise you like no californian is going to move from 70 degree weather to 170 lol

That said, my family is in AZ and a couple of them are full blown truck flipping ye haw conservatives (I watched one get into an argument over tools, storm off drunk, and crash 200 feet away from the house into a cactus that wasn't even near a road once lol) and 1 of them voted for biden!

edit: Wait! Now that I think about it, we literally did flip a truck one of them rebuilt when he took me off roading!

I also have a theory that a lot of retirees used to go to AZ and these people were mostly conservative voters. But if you look at Scottsdale it doesn't even make the top-5 these days and not even on many top-10 places to retire list. I know old people and they're all thinking FL or SC or NC. No one is going to AZ. It filled up I guess, people realized you can dress up a cactus with a fancy hat and it's still a cactus.

So less conservative retirees and more liberal imports.
