It is funny to me though how simply liking america is considered some kind of nutty right wing thing. Want to look like a trump supporter? Wear a... pff.. pff.. american flag lol! I suppose part of the freedom of our system though is that you are free to spit on it and take it for granted if you want, but that does make you a doofus who is ignorant of history and the rest of the world.

Log in or Register.] In August some UK Semi-Big Wig gave a Brexit speech where he went on to talk about the trade deal with the US and how this was "...a means of spreading prosperity. Prosperity leads to social cohesion which in turn underpins political stability. " And since both the UK and the US are gripped by populist tendencies at the moment...you were basically paraphrasing him.

Liking the country you live in does not equal nationalism. What a perplexing proposition. Don't you want to live in a country you like? If you don't like america, and then move to a country you like more, are you then a nationalist for your new country? Just bizarre..
