Thank you. This is the key difference when people just talk about some authoritarian regime and call it fascist. Same thing with most Muslim countries. They're into the umma, they have all these benefits, economy check, values check, why are they not fascist? Because it's religion based. It comes from above. It's not an innate feeling. Same thing with all these banana states. People say this guy is fascist or that guy, but is he trying to unify the nation into one body? No, just some regular oppressor. That state exists only as long as the guy or his family is in power. A true fascist state aims to last forever, or well, at least 1000 years.

Again, trump isn’t a fascist, he just shouldn’t be tossing the norms of our democracy out the window. It isn’t healthy for what comes next. Also, who is the next republican waiting in the wings? It’s going to be much harder to keep the coalition of white working class midwesterners voting as a bloc with corporate profiteers like McConnell. I don’t think anyone has the charisma, and I doubt anyone would believe their sincerity. Pence? Nikki Haley?
Trump has damaged the Republican Party and has, in the long run, made actual left wing views like those espoused by AOC gain more traction. I’m not sure how that isn’t obvious, but maybe him losing Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina will wake you guys up to how much some people, like myself, who are sympathetic to republicans and utterly can’t stand liberals just could not stomach TRUMP being god awful in every metric this year. He is right about China being an evil shit pile, he’s been wrong about everything else
Stand back and standby for your annihilation at the ballot box, assuming we still count ballots. Who knows, trump might do away with that as well at this point
