I mean... that number is not even remotely definitive at this point in time if you know anything about statistics. A truly novel virus can't be fully understood in years much less months, hence the drastically variant projections as time goes on. Many deaths in america attributed to covid19 are coincidental, it's the same exact mechanism that allows people to inflate "cannabis related" traffic fatalities. If you drive drunk as shit into a daycare center and you also test positive for THC on the toxicology, that gets added to the statistics against marijuana legalization. In other words it's highly politicized out of the gate and requires rigorous cross checking, and we haven't even had this disease for 6 full months yet. Saying things like "you cost all these lives, I hope you're HAPPY, political enemy" is so dumb and bad.
