I don't really care to have this dead horse argument, ive seen it posted a hundred times.

Lasher said it best that if red99 is classic people will just exploit all the OP shit people know about now, and if its balanced people will still QQ. I see you're part of the first category of people that wanted to roll a pet class in classic eq and solo everyone with it - whether it's right or not to change from classic I don't give a fuck, but you simplify it way down when it really isn't an easy solution fix.

Then you never played live pvp cause necros raped without the pet and pet classes didn't 'solo everyone' on the server. Mages are pretty easy to kill even with a pet quadding for 56. Take that away and they are completely worthless. Like I said, pets are too easily cc'd to be an overwhelming force in pvp.
