it isnt saved anywhere. when you hit prt scrn its like you just copyed your whole screen. you have to paste it to something like ms paint.

I remember print screen in EQ actually saved the file somewhere, but I don't know if that's only in full screen mode or what

Not exactly. The print screen key on your keyboard will only capture the screen into buffer. The print screen key in EQ, keypad minus, will save the current screen into your EQ install directory\Screenshots, sequentially numbered.

As noted, if you use the actual keyboard print screen key, you'll then have to paste it into another application.
