Is Tigeraptor armor worth the price for a Ranger?

Does it even drop in Crystal Caverns? I wasn't aware that it did.

Ideally I can see Paineel lasting until my late 30s, possibly even my 40s. And it's nearly 1kpp a level at the moment.
