Two more issues:

-Song of Highsun is currently day-only, yet I know at some point it becomes usable at any time of day. Anyone know when this was?

-Selo's Chords of Cessation won't stack with Selo's Assonant Strane. This seems wrong since Selo's Consonant Chain stacks with Selo's Chords of Cessation.

Here's another one:

Selo's Assonant Strane (54) is hasting mobs rather than slowing them. Only the snare component of the song is working properly.

The only thing I could find regarding highsun is an entry in lucy where the time restriction was changed from day to any on August 14th 2002. There was in fact a patch on the day but it's not in the patch notes (not that all changes are obv).

I'm pretty sure you can only have 1 slow effect on a mob at a time, and since both of those songs have slow effects they should not stack.

edit: and yeah, to reiterate what Phisting said, at least I didn't die to a light blue con mob and blame my "girlfriend" for it!

Good question, I'm not sure they're supposed to since they both have a slow component. I would think that the one with the higher % slow would overright the other. Can somebody (shamana/enchanter) confirm that only one slow effect can be on the mob an that the highest is what sticks?

The weird thing about cessation stacking with selo's consonant chain, is that clearly both songs are working at once and no song gets entirely overwritten, since you see the mob moving slower (because it's snared) but the mob takes damage from the dot from chords of cessation. Both songs have a slow effect, and selo's consonant chain's is the more powerful one, so presumably it overwrites that of chords of cessation, but it doesn't stop the entire song from working (ie it doesn't overwrite the dot component of it). Maybe this is a bug, I dunno.

edit: as for song of highsun, I found a post from 2001 confirming it as day-only, so it probably only changes in Luclin, unfortunately.
