I haven't even bothered to buy my lvl 50+ fire pets. I still use the 49 fire pet from time to time though. He's still a beast in the right situations.

I use 49 fire pet when I solo most of the time. If I was soloing casting mobs I'd use the air pet but soloing casting mobs is for retards.
