I just want to say Thank You to the devs for enforcing the naming policy. Everquest is a high fantasy game. Character names should try and be high fantasy as well. If the NPC's in game had names like Obama and dumptruck and joggingpants it would take away from the game. PC names are the same. It does matter.

Things will never be perfect. Some names will fall through the cracks etc. But it IS a step in the right direction.

And to everyone trying to bully people in this thread for being nerds and losers because you dont get to name your toon Diksukfuk and because we dont agree with you(and YOU are breaking the rules) Shut up. Follow the rules. It isnt hard. This isnt call of duty. Dont name your character something dumb cuz you think its funny and then complain because the name gets changed. That's on you. You know the rules. Follow them.
