Yep thats it. Completely blocks getting the sword as a Paladin, and eventually their Epic in Kunark just to make raid bosses gimps.

If you're complaining about Lucan I doubt you're ever gonna get the dragon books. Perhaps pick a rogue, they've got a super easy epic!

The difference here is the books are ONLY for paladins. Soulfire can be used by anyone, and in particular the guild of Seal Team to trivialize content.

You would have a greater chance of getting the books than you would in Soulfire, unless you wait til Velious to try and get lucan.

I think you better check on who killed the last Lucan. Wasn't Seal Team.
