Those of us that don't have the time to dedicate to grinding from scratch on another server care. I would rather not see blue get all the extra items/coin eventually dumped into it from Green.

I don't get this argument.

"I don't want to merge with Blue because I don't want to sell my gear to people on Blue"?

I mean honestly the decision to merge would most likely come down to population over anything else. If 500 people are on Blue, 500 want to stay on Green 1.0 and 1000 want to move on to Green 2.0 then there will just be keeping several underpopulated servers for years and makes more sense to merge.

If 100 are on Blue, 1500 want to stay on Green 1.0 and 500 want to move on, then merging Green1 and Blue doesn't benefit Green's population.
