Ogre or Troll SK for a solo player?

It won't matter one bit, not for you. You can roll a DE or Human too, won't make a difference, except you will level a LOT faster. You're going to be soloing sub-40 with crap gear. None of that high end min-max is relevant. Troll regen isn't massive - you seriously don't notice it after like level 4. For your purposes, choose a character model that pleases you.

Yep, choosing a troll or even an ogre for solo play is not really that good.

And even if you plan on raiding blue showed up that the level 50 to 60 trip is going to be hell unless you got an insane aoe chardok group or any other insane way of having xp.

I remember reading someone saying that they only way they made it past 52 at all was abusing that place, else it was going to be impossible to do it on a non grinding mentality haha.

So doing it in a Classic Environment is going to be tough.

I love SKs, they are awesome! But that xp penalty sux so much.

Lol that someone was me, actually. And it will be worse on Green/Teal as there will be no Chardok AOE groups since they nerfed the amount of mobs you can ae...

The only thing saving you is that Velious drops only 7 months after Kunark hits so that removes 40% of the penalty a troll SK gets.

So, maybe level a troll SK up to 35 and get a guise and let him sit until Velious and then starting leveling again. This would be my strategy. And yes troll SK is amazing but the grind is REAL, lol.

People just don't understand how bad it is until they actually try it themselves. As a normal, non neck-beard person you just won't hit 60 pre Velious playing normally.
