Druids gonna level faster unless you have a good partner to duo with(and in a complimentary class.)

Druids long term sounds much more your playstyle since you only have short chunks of time.

Enchanter is more powerfull, especially in the long run. But enchanters require a lot of skill, if you are new to the class expect to die... horribly, frequently.
Druid is way more restricted in what it can do efficiently. Charms are restricted to animals, quadding is restricted to wide open areas. Druids *can* root rot most stuff, though its not exactly fast killing. BUT: Druid is way easier. Sow alone will make you die 10 times less. Traveling is obviously easier and port money is a good plat source.
If you are a very skilled player and you like the enchanter style, do that. If not do druid.

Go druid first. At 14, you get a powerful charm animal spell that will help you power level all the way up to 23-24 in no time. Unlike enchanters, druids don't need no stinking charisma plus they got snare and heals! So learning the ropes of solo charming is way easier on a druid.

If you like the charming life, you can always move on to an enchanter alt at some point [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

If you do go druid, do pick either wood elf or halfling so you have the Hide ability. You can use it to break charm and oh boy, it is amazing. Here's an example as to why, after which I'll shut up. Say your charmed pet drops below 20% so you snare+fear the animal you're fighting. Once the enemy is dead, you can just click on Hide until it succeeds. The mob will start running and now you can either finish it with a nuke or charm another animal to kill it for you. There's no need to stand up and cast invis (25-30 mana plus a possible mana tick!) plus hide will let you AFK for extended periods of time.

Good luck.

In a limited play time setting, once you can quad on a Druid it's probably pretty equal in terms of number of mobs you will kill (at least until 50-60 where long respawn times and medding times probably give the Enchanter the edge over the Druid). Pre-quadding, an Enchanter will have the edge as well.

Charm killing on an Enchanter is fairly involved though and doesn't really become as effective until the 20s. So if you also want low effort soloing during that limited play time, I'd go Druid.

Both enchanter and druid are great solo classes. Enchanter would be better if you are min/maxxing, but it's more difficult and more dangerous to solo as an enchanter. Druid has a lot more utility, but enchanter is one of the most powerful classes in the game in general and also specifically at soloing.
