This is my personal progression chart, which I think is better than what's in the wiki:
0-21 metal bits 22-41 field point arrowheads 42-68 large lanterns 69-97 skewers 98-102 banded gorget 103-135 banded helm 136-168 banded gauntlets Doing arrow heads instead of scalers saves you two metal bits per combine. Keep in mind that you will need several bags full of bits even after they become trivial to progress through arrowheads, lanterns and skewers. | ||
