Well, to be fair it's not like the male gender has a long, distinguished, history of making good 'long term' decisions in situations where the penis is prominantly involved.

Hell i'd bang even a remotely attractive female roomate if there was a long commercial break and I didn't need to pee or check my phone.

Not necessarily. Anyone with half a brain knows you shouldn't bang your roommate. It's the same reason you shouldn't bang coworkers. If it goes bad, it can go really, really bad.
