On Tuesday I logged on and instantly checked the time....something I never do. It was 8am so I pranced about EC all happy.

Then it happened.....it started to get dark.......I joked in /ooc about how dark it was and someone responded 'Its gonna get way darker".

"lol" i said.

five minutes later, I am scared for my life, standing on this small hill in WC, not willing to move anywhere until daybreak due to the fact that I can't see those goddamn pumas until they are right up on me.

This is as classic as it fucking gets and it made me laugh way harder than it should. Took me straight back to high school and being on a level 9 high elf cleric after I had taken the boat trip to Freeport for the first time and was starting to explore EC. And that was on a race with infravision.

Those goddamn pumas.

Oh yeah, the air elemental was the nightmare event. That was the game over apocalypse scenario. The pumas were the constant nagging threat.

The worst part about the air elemental was that it didn't fear the light. You can peek over dunes all you want, you're not seeing that bastard coming.
