serious question:

why do people believe an impeachment will happen?

From my understanding to impeach Trump 2/3 of the senate will have to vote for it right?
But the GOP is having the majority in the senate.
And the GOP appears like putting Trump and party before country.
Therefor an impeachment looks like impossible?!

I mean I didnt saw a single report about any republican whos unhappy with Trump, or who cares if Trump broke any law.

Do I see this correct, or did I miss something?

When the full House votes on articles of impeachment, if at least one gets a majority vote, the president is impeached — which is essentially the equivalent of being indicted. Next, the proceedings move to the Senate, which is to hold a trial overseen by the chief justice of the United States.

Impeachment is basically being put on trial. He will be impeached by the House. He will more than likely not be convicted by the Senate because the rule of law doesn't matter and the turtle in charge of the place is fine letting congress be subservient.
