haha this one really caught me off guard. I had expected to be here for the next 2 months but my prayers to RNGesus were answered.

There is something so fun about these hunts, its given me an entirely new pixel to hunt for off nearly any creature, named, or quest event in the game.

I started this thread because I was just so excited for green99 but finding rares NPCs has quickly become my new favorite hobby lol

Every outdoor zone seems to have its archetypes that the designers pull from, so you can start to figure out the behavior of creatures and get some intuition as to what the designers were thinking to take some educated guesses.

There's the NPC that picks random spawn points from an array... Or the ones that walk back and forth along a static path...

Sometimes designers put hints into some spawn cycles to point you in the right direction, there is some of that in Dagnors Cauldren.

Although there are some creatures that I have still been unable to find ;_; so sometimes I think it has nothing to do with any of that intuition and is all just luck.

One mystery Id like to solve: What the heck happened in North Karana?

There is a named lion wolf and bear that each drop a superb pelt:

Lion
Bear
Wolf

What I think is the designer had plans and they CANNED HIM! cus he was too good at coming up with awesome rare drop tailoring ideas like making rare drops off named creatures that tradeskilers could use.

As far as custom content goes, I want some leather armor made out of these!
