Complicated rules suck. Current plan for long ass clears/raids such as Tunare seems to work out. As far as the rest? Basic rules and competition are sufficient. This sever could do with a lot less rules, significantly more compromise, a bit of patience and a splash of common decency.

The server isn’t going anywhere. We’re locked at velious. Most of us (most not all) would probably be happier to be able to experience static content at a more relaxed and mature pace.

We’re all getting older.

I appreciate my nocturnal sleep, naps, and time not being on batphone call. I’m sure plenty have families. I would hope (probably in vain) that more of us than not have actual jobs.

You must have misunderstood what goes on here. This is P99. More time spent staring at walls is better because that's how the game was meant to be played. Why politely rotate mobs 50/50 when you can instead poopsock them for hours and get 50/50?
