Need to keep in mind wood elves also get hide. If you worship Tunare you can quest a nice right click root necklace. Humans don't have infravision (which isn't actually a big deal on this server).
After like 19 or 24, you won't be able to be melee based. If you were looking for a class to get gear for your other chars, I would suggest mage/necro. Most decent gear drops in dungeons which are indoors for the most part and that really cramps a druid's style.

Yeah, true. Our plan is to get our Druids up first so we can port our alts around. We both have low level necros but decided to work on Druids first.
I guess maybe I'll take Messianic's advice and learn the GF area. The pros are too many for Wood Elves I'm thinking.
