Depends on which boss we are talking about. Of the rooted bosses in ToV, I would wager Dagarn is one of the easiest. I guess I'd say 30-40 is a suitable kill force for him? Then Vyemm is probably the hardest and I'd guess I wouldn't want less than 60-70 on him. Just my 2 cents anyway on those numbers though.

Of course all this changes quite a bit when you're trying to kill the boss along with guards at the same time, especially Vulak whose guards actually flurry, but that wasn't your question so I'm not gonna get into that.

P99ers do a lot of things well. Handling surprise adds / splitting up focus is not one of them. Mostly because the classes that do that the best (SK/Paladins) are generally trashed and considered useless, and because pulls are considered failures if a dragons doesn't appear at the zone line solo.
