I think stolen is a pretty strong word. People always leave and accounts get used by other people. /shrug

If it was not a stolen account, then they should still pay whatever punishment is due. Dog ate my homework didn't work in grade school and shouldn't here.

It's the rules that you are responsible for what other people do with your account; it's part of the burden of sharing the accounts details.

I don't think a 30 day ban on the account of a retired player is going to upset anyone....
