Server Offline May 12th

the bonus is nice... to try an lure people from live. Once sony gets up and running , hopefully the server will return to normal. If i wanted a easy EQ, I'd play on one of the other servers. <3 Devs for keepin it real here!, and being timely with almost everything(sony never was timely).

Ya know I was just thinking the same thing. And this is coming from an individual, not a multi-million dollar company.

Don't get me wrong, I see the point of the bonus, but it's been going on for two weeks now. I am fearing two things now:

1. The people that do come here from live, will leave once they find out how slow the leveling really is once the bonus is turned off.

2. People will whine when it is announced that they are turning off the bonus and because of the pressure, they keep it on.

Of course, I am a huge pessimist.

Rogean, thanks for making this server possible. I got into the og EQ right when Luclin was launched so I didn't get a chance to experience the game when it was really taking off.

I'd like to donate to this project. Can anyone post a donation link? I can't seem to find it.

Donations are made on the homepage of the p1999 website, there will be a donation tab on the navigation toolbar.

I would like to buy P1999 for approx. 2,000,000pp.

Or perhaps I will continue playing as normal, enjoying it immensely, and I'll toss you guys a bit of money to help cover this insanity as soon as I can deposit these college graduation checks. Spread the wealth, keep the dream alive!

EDIT: and, of course, the whole dev team are ballas as always.
