This morning at work, i was passing by 2 ladies engaged in conversation. Just as their conversation ended, one lady turned around not knowing i was coming, and i scared the poo outta her on accident.. She jumped and responded with "Oh jesus, you're like a ninja"..

How can a compliment be offensive?

Ninja were extremely skilled in espionage and military intelligence.

She pretty much called you a CIA SAD-SOG Operator.

That's good for free drinks at the bar as long as you remember to bring your challenge coin and kill the guy afterward.

I'd say it could also be a white dude in tight pants and ironic vintage footwear. And they're definitely college students and not just "college age", but you're still basically right.
