Ogres have the best starting stats but.. Youre ugly, fat, eat a lot, and that "cant be stun/bashed from the front thing is overrated.

as far as ogre
frontal stun immunity is alot more useful then you give credit for
ugly = true
fat = true
eat alot = a pain in early levels. once you can afford good home cooked meals, it's less of an issue. you inhale tons of food for the stat buff in raid anyway

as far as iksar
regen is VERY nice at low lvls. but later game it's meh
ac bonus = ac soft capped anyway. may give you 100th of a percent difference in damage? alittle useful early game but armor limitation can be annoying
swimming is a matter of practice. the skill cap is the same for both races

as far as OP, just go with which ever brand of ugly you prefer [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] you can always roll an inky if you want to look pretty [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] race doesn't matter much in later games.
