My favorite Bond movie is On Her Majesty's Secret Service entirely because having Bond fall in love with and marry a woman just so they could have her taken out by a sniper randomly, thrusting him into a depressive spiral and collapsing him in on himself like a flan was so fucking bizarre and out of character for the series that it is the most interesting thing they ever did, and Lazenby has the honor of his one and only foray into the role, already set apart by his status as a Shakespearean actor rather than whatever the fuck all those other guys are, being in that strange and wonderful movie
