Cancel cast
Whats the deal with the ducking durring casting. Did some editor think this was a clever modification to EQ to make it more intresting, because its not classic and just annoying. Some favoritism towards melee? "Lets get casters stuck in 5 second casts... they cant get out of?" Wasnt needed durring live classic, not needed here. How did this happen?

The benefit of this is if you click you spell book during a long cast time, you can actually meditate while casting! You just need to make sure you stand up before the cast is complete.
Other than that, not being able to immediately duck casts has caused me to get a couple of my groupmates killed. Imagine starting to cast CH (10 s) when you meant to cast Remedy (3 s) and not being able to duck it. I don't understand why this was fixed on Blue but not on Red. Hopefully the Red fix comes with the next patch.

Duck canceling has been on blue for 5 years and it will never come to red.
Ps. Try using your fucking brain and clicking remedy if remedy is what you want to cast.

If you can get 3 Red players to petition it, we'll fix it on Red.
Good luck. | ||

Think before you cast. You memmed the spells in that order. If you keep doing it, just have 1 spell up and you can never be wrong <3

I think im starting to get used to it I still hate it but... I wonder if im starting to have memories of not being able to duck in classic, just running around with your hands on fire... it's feels like walking with a string of toilet paper hanging out your ass crack...
