The spirit of the game is that rare items are intended to be camped then moved on from, allowing the next player to experience the content. That is the entire reason of the lore mechanic. Corpsing is just a work around discovered because the original developers either didn't give much thought as to how to accrue duplicates of an item while only having one inventoried at a time, underestimated the sneakiness of players that would find the work around or knew the futility of fighting against such behaviour meant they only bothered implementing the low hanging fruit incentives for not farming lore MQs for no drop items. | |||
