As far a shaman+war (or any melee) goes, in my duo'ing experience, GHeal+Regen+Slow was fine, and I didn't have to run my mana bar down to empty keeping the melee healed.
Obviously nothing can replace Cheal, but hopefully you don't put yourself in a situation where you would need it.

SHM+SK is a better duo and also a great start to a group just like WAR+CLR
as a former long time SK, I rate us higher as a group tank than warriors, but I am probably biased.. | ||
