It's amazing to me how well r/k theory explains things like this. Mick is a k-strategist optimized for competition in hard times who views the return of scarcity as a positive. Feniin is an r-strategist who is hugely triggered by the possibility, because he realizes that he is likely to be among the culled. He then writes a long post about how the k-strategists who want to kill him are weak, while he bravely runs away from conflict - which is obviously absurd.

Really, r-strategists should be desperately voting for Trump. If they keep voting for the Democratic Corpostate, things will get so bad that the culling might actually happen.
