if you already have schw there is no reason to buy a haste item except epic mq before you have fungi

the regen is ridiculous regardless of some possible mathematical calculation where the slightly more hasted monk kills a mob very slightly faster and takes 1 less round of combat which might add up to several ticks of fungi regen

Except you know, epic means he will need new haste, and any of the 'decent' hastes basically translates directly into 10-15% more DPS, meaning a fight ends that much faster.

The extra dps outshines the (somewhat minimal at 50+) regen because you can do some simple factual math calculations where a higher DPS monk kills a mob faster and takes much less overall damage which adds up to more significant time savings than a fungi.

Saying fungi is better for solo at the 50+ range is neglecting all the factors into efficient killing and only looking at one facet. Dmg you dont take = no reason to regen hp.

If you're counting on a fungi to save you during FD on a bad pull, have fun waiting for 5-10 mins while you regen (not very XP/hour friendly).

However, if you are tanking in a group (often) then fungi is more useful as the damage its regenerating saves a lot of healer mana over time, but otherwise, DPS is better in almost every situation.
