I'm not sure why you think boxing is comparable to twinking or power leveling or account trading. Boxing is banned to discourage antisocial camp monopolies and to encourage social interactions amongst the player population. None of the other stuff has any negative effect on those things, boxing does.

And if the goal is to get people playing and having fun then why not?

I haven't played p1999 in a long time because I stopped enjoying my Shaman, wasn't a good match for me, etc....

So after a few weeks I finally traded him for a Rogue and now I'm excited about p1999, having fun and playing again.

Seems like a happy ending to me.

Except, the point of this thread that you and several other people fail to realize, is that in classic and as far as I'm aware, STILL, it is illegal to sell and trade accounts.

Is this a joke? Account trading was INSANELY rampant in classic.

It didn't start out that way, that's for sure. It took a few years.

I remember it going pretty strong in Kunark, and by Velious is was booming. I remember in highschool when I was like 15 I made a couple thousand bucks for summer vacation by buying, selling, and trading accounts lol

Summer job? Fuck that, I had EQ

Comprehension issues? Say, whaaaaaaaaaaa? I never said it wasn't rampant. I said it was illegal.

It was extremely common and rampant in Classic, therefore they allow it to be extremely common and rampant here. Pretty simple.

Annoying debate, but, your argument is not logical.
