In a nutshell.... things went bad when a decision was made with little or no input from existing DA members to merge with another guild, then giving the wrong person from the guild that was merged with free reign as an officer/leader, and said wrong person making stupid/emotional decisions that basically undermined and affected the guild negatively.

I think that about sums it up.

Azeth and Dalth pretty much summed up wat happened with DA. At this time Ascension imo isnt DA. Still holding same website address due to the officer remaking the site but the guild itself is only made up of 20-30% of the old members, maybe less. In which case 20-30% of the old members went to TR, and the other 40% quit due to GM Bashing during vanilla EQ and burning out as well as moving onto other MMOs.

So if Ascension to people is DA its only a shell of its former self, may take a while before its polished up and ready to kick ass again. I guess Uthg meaning of "A" team means that we leave him alone for now. But i have faith that we keep you busy in the near future.

Here you go. If you want to know more well you would need to recheck through the pass threads. Note: They wanted to do this 3 times (Guild suspend on DA), but by the second time alot of the member already moved on and out of EQ. The third time well... wasnt made public but the hell with it, they suspended all officers and slapped a 2 week ban on guild for something really retarded which has nothing to do with any of the previous 2 reasons. Pretty much game over by this time.
