Dev's need to make Paineel bone chip heaven. I remember playing there sometime around late Kunark or Velious and the skeles were so numerous and respawned so quickly. Sadly, I've tried looking for written evidence of this and I can't find anything definitive.

I remember this too. I used to go there every couple of months on my DE necro in the old days and farm backpacks of them and bank them.
