Heres what I would like to know,
-What affects archery damage str or dex?
Both. Str affects your mean archery damage by increasing your max hit dmg. I've done 200 hits and averaged the non-crits with str gear on and off, and there's a small noticeable difference (1.7% for me) from 25 extra strength.
Dex affects your mean archery damage by upping your chance to do critical hits. Criticals appear to be adding up to 200% damage to a bow hit for me, meaning the total hit from the crit is 3x normal. As your chance to critical goes up very noticeably with dex (5% crit at 100 dex, 10% at 200 dex?), you can think of this as rangers doing (0.95x + 0.05*3x)= 1.1x or 10% more damage than a normie with same stats at 100 dex, or (0.9 + .1*3x)=1.2x or 20% more damage than a normie with same stats at 200 dex.

-How do you tell what your archery attack power is?
You can't, unless you possess the BFG
-How does dex affect procs?
See above. criticals and procs seem to have about the same percent chance to fire.
dramatically more procs at 200 dex vs 100.
-What increases your hit chance with archery?
Archery skill, of course. wolf form, firefist, str of nature etc. anything that says it affects your attack will affect archery attack
Statwise... Unknown. your article probably is your best guess (should be dex...but could be str).
