any bards/dps available for Faydedar fight today?

I appreciate that. But it wasn't so much me as the Monk who came to help me. We had our 5 man group with no bard and I told them I didn't want to get them killed so maybe I should try over the weekend when we had more guild members available. The monk asked me if I would lose a hard to get epic piece if we tried him. That's when it hit me. You give Dolgrin Codslayer the froglok essence but he hands it right back because you have to turn it in to someone else later. We had an epic cleric there with us.

So what's the worst that could happen? We wipe, get a 96% rez and can't retry for 12 hours since Dolgrin is on a 12 hour timer. So the monk said, "I say we try it".

So we did and the fight was super easy. I had 20M mana left, the cleric had more than that and no one even came close to dying. It helped that we were all 60 I think cause we resisted a lot of his spells.

I wish I could remember that monks name. It was face****** something. He came out there when no one else was there but me. He insisted I keep looking for peeps to join us and he found me a 60 cleric to do the healing. I would never had gotten it done yesterday if it wasn't for him seeing this thread, offering me his help in the game and pushing me to go for it even without a bard.

Oh yeah, and I did the final 2 turn ins today so I am officially the proud owner of a leaf blower. I even spent a few hours in OOT using it to pull Seafury Cyclops where I would triple dot them to death. So it's broken in and everything [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
