the wider the viewport the more you crop the top and bottom of your view.
There is no widescreen EQ.
Use your width to make a 4:3 viewport and some deadspace for chat and inventory windows

This is very cool. I may have to try this out. I have a 25 inch 2k monitor and this may make it easier to play.
