There is no dead space. I adjusted the UI to fill the extra 640 pixels I had ( from to previous 1920 to the new 2560 pixels of wide of screen).

The problem is that I thought I would see a wider angle, because of a wider Aspect Ratio, so lets say that if in 1920 the angle of view was of 120 degree, with a 2560 maybe would expect a 150 degree, but it seems I just see the same 120 degree of vision, but stretched horizontaly to fill that extra 640 pixels (from old 1920 to the new 2560)

So thats basically the question, if that stretched view is how its supposed to be, or if there is a way to actually see wider, as in other games the aspect 21:9 does

I take an example from the internet:

As you see on the left, a 16:9 aspect ratio with 1920x1080 resolution, gives the same size for UI elements as the image on the right, which is 21:9 aspect ratio with 2560x1080, bu on right one, you actually see more portion of the map, a wider angle of vision.

I expected to see something like that on EQ, but what I see, is the same image as on that example left screen, but stretched to fill the full screen. So yes, I have more space for UI as the creen is literally larger and the UI elements are not stretched, but the image itself seems to be the same picture than on a 1920x1080, but just made wider to fill the screen size.

Any thoguhts? Thanks and sorry for the english, not native.
