This race event concept is a lot of fun kudos to you guys for trying to bring some added fun to the server!

Here is how I will cheat:

Create my level 1 toon and load him with POTG, Regen, Haste and camp him out until race day.

Equip him with a cloak of flames and a belt of the great turtle as often as i can without raising suspicion.

Equip him with an iksar berserker club or equivalent.

Pre-Load up on fangs, but only turn in a reasonable amount to get to the next xyz level.
The rest ill probably play it by ear... Someone may decide to just turn in a discord book and start ganking newbs, likely a troll war decked in pre-raid gear...

Maybe a requirement should be dispelling everyone before event start? Everyone must corpse once and hand out rust swords etc at start before race?

Going to be a great event!
All ready have plans in place for all of this... Gunna have to join to see... Why is everyone so focused on cheating? Can you guys focus on the fun, the heart of the event.

Events are awesome, kudos to Sons for working on doing one for the server.

As for not talking about cheating, this will not make it so people won't cheat.

My only concern is there are so many working parts to the event it's going to be impossible to watch every individual and know if someone is cheating or not. Even just equipping one twink item can give a huge advantage.

I just think it's too complicated and way too hard to enforce all the rules set forth because the fact of the matter is people WILL cheat if they think they can get away with it.

Sometimes simple events are better because it's easier to monitor the players involved and it leaves less room for players to cheat.

That being said, good luck on the event and hopefully no one cheats.

I find it a little funny that some ppl would go thru so much effort to cheat for a measly 15k... Granted 15k for a one hour event is pretty good... But really? Any decent solo class at 60 can make 2 to 5k plat a day (or more) with little effort if they know what they are doing
