i like Job's take on smart people, "you don't hire smart people to tell them what to do, you hire smart people so they can tell you what to do." this always made alot of sense to me as someone who has always been a bit above my average peers.

this is why Trump has been successful in the private sector. being "smart" doesn't make one a good leader or even a meaningful contributor. you can be brilliant and impotent at the same time because you lack the ability to wield your own talents.
