Default Issues with Resolution

Game has become unplayable. Every time I tab out or switch between windowed and FS my resolution gets messed up and I seemingly have 0 mouse sensitivity now regardless of the in game setting, making it impossible to look around or move normally. I have no idea how to fix this. I have tried altering config settings and creating a new config file, neither have fixed the problem.

As a test you might try setting both your windowed and full screen resolution down to a reasonably safe number, say 1024x768 (in eqclient.ini). If that fixes it there is probably an issue with the resolution you had set for one of those modes, and if you play with increasing the resolution slowly you can probably figure out which mode/resolution was the problem.

If switching to lower resolution for all modes doesn't help then someone else will hopefully have a better idea, as that's all I've got.

No matter what resolution fullscreen is in it will change to a smaller box with the mouse uncalibrated and requires resetting the video mode every time I tab or switch between fullscreen and windowed. Even if just trying to play in windowed I have 0 mouse sensitivity and can't look around without using arrow keys.

I just periodically delete eqclient.ini. Seems to fix up the wierd bugs that slowly creep in.

Copypaste your custom keybinds from the old to new tho!

Fresh eqclient.ini, screen is still stretching every time i switch between windowed and FS or tab out but it is manageable now as I just have to click videos modes and accept and then it will resize it correctly. I still cannot fix the mouse sensitivity which is the worst part really. All this shit popped up after the last windows update, fuckin hate windows. I've spent hours on this shit at this point.

Changing max frames per second to 60 fixed the mouse issues, but why is it suddenly resizing the game out of sync with my monitor but resizes correctly if i just select the same video options again and click accept?

Best solution I figured out was to set windowed res to 1920x1080, Right click the bottom tool/app bar and set windows to Cascade, drag your EQ window up to fill the screen then press the Windows key to save the settings. Seems to be good now and even easier to tab around, guess it was time to get over fullscreen. Would still like to know WTF is going on though.
