My ipad has 2000-3000 books on it. Whether you believe i paid for any of said books is up to you =)

I do buy some books that i really like.

I realize lots of people pirate books, movies, etc., personally I never do that. I feel it's a way to show appreciation to the people who created them by paying for them.

It might just be semantics, but my point was that you don't really pirate books, you pirate e-books. When the Kindle came out years ago everyone thought it would kill off paper book stores, and yet they're still around even today precisely because lots of people believe books > e-books.

To me, if you want a true book experience you can't pirate it ... well unless you go to some third world country that actually prints pirate copies.
