This seems obvious to me, but you seem to be on the defensive so maybe it's not obvious to you: "conservative hetero dumbfuck Christians" is not the same set of people as "all Christians (including John Brown) throughout history". The former is very clearly a much smaller subset of the latter ... just like how the set of people who actually follow Christ's teachings is a tiny tiny fraction of the "all Christians throughout history" set.
