I've tried several times since yesterday to respond to some of the new comments, so here's hoping the third time really is a charm!

Kadaru2, no, hubby was quite imaginative in naming my first character, but I've taken over since then. He was just a little overexcited to start playing together & couldn't wait the 3hrs till I got home to get the IP exemption process started. Turns out the effort was moot since it can take a few weeks or months till our request gets to the top of the request queue...

Raski, DH's success in getting me to play EQ lies mainly in his desire to include me in as many of his hobbies as possible and my love for spending time with him. We are also childless, which allows both of us to fully engage in the game & not worry about or get distracted by the needs of others. Those of you who wish to get your significant others to play with them should start out by letting them know how much you'd love to share a hobby with them.

Scorn, I'm not really sure what you're cringing at. They (including smuzilla) have been nothing but supportive. Is it their surprise in seeing a woman participating in the game? If so, I'm equally guilty where it pertains to discovering men partaking in my predominantly female centered hobbies.

New accounts usually have their first few posts go through moderation, so that's why there's been some delay in your responses showing up, Steph. I see all of them now.

It IS their surprise as well as certain individuals congratulating someone who hasn't even posted in the thread.

There are quite a few women who play on p99, by the way. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
