Lets do this. Have the devs automatically put the market value on items, when they get nerfed and how many are on the server. What the heck, lets have the devs even have a list of players who are selling that item and what they are selling it for!

I just dont understand that thought process i guess. I kinda sound like a dick, but it's really a dumb move to just buy shit without knowing anything about it...
While I don't believe the Devs have to do anything, I do think it would be nice. When most people buy items they look at the stats on the item and safely assume those are the stats and they aren't going to change.

This is true for every item in the game except a very small number. I would guess less than 5.

This is nothing similar to GMs setting item values. It is letting players know that stats on these items will be changed in the not too distant future.

We're not modifying the items to display a future nerf.

You can consider this... a benefit of knowing classic EQ.

The people who originally had these items in Kunark.. didn't know they were gonna get nerfed.

If you don't know? Well, grats on your classic experience imo.
