Yeah that's completely untrue. The bug forums is filled with many different mage nerfs that are KNOWN to be unclassic but aren't going to be changed to classic. Need an example?

The link above is a known mage problem that hasn't been fixed in more than 3.5 years since it has been posted. I could post about 10 more like these, but not worth my time you can find them for yourself.
