How to play on Windows Seven ?

Make sure you are running as admin. Also you might need to unhide some folders that are hidden by default..
I'm pretty sure there is at least 1 or 2 other threads concerning how to get Windows7 working with EQ. It does indeed work, I just can't find the correct thread at the moment.

I would try reinstalling as well. Or at least de-fragging, and reinstalling if you still have the memory error. I run windows 7 without any issues and the memory error could be contributed to a corrupt/fragmented file when you installed.

*For both install file and the eqgame.exe* (Right-click > properties)
Run as administrator
Compatibility mode for xp

Download process explorer if you have dual core

Update if you still have issues.
