Would we want classicly "broken" quests fixed on p99?

It's true that in the official classic time period the devs never completed classic quest series like the Iksar "epics", the 8th shawl quest, the rest of the Qeynos Badge quests, or a ton of other minor things like Ry'Gor orcs giving CC dwarf faction. Because all those happened on live the're part of EQ, but because they were never completed before 2001 they're not classic.

But here's the thing: once Green is released Blue could potentially have custom content. And not just any custom content but classically-themed custom content, the kind of content that feels like it would have happened at Verant if Aradune had stuck around.

If the devs ever decide to go with custom content on Blue I would absolutely love to see the best "classic changes" from live cherry-picked on to Blue. And they wouldn't have to be the live versions even: I'd love any 8th shawl quest that incorporates blacksmithing, but if Nilbog thinks the quest is too easy or that the 8th shawl on live is too powerful for the Velious era he could just make a different P99 version instead.

To me, a server that's basically classic (eg. no moon cats), but with fixes for all the things that never got fixed in classic, plus some totally new but also totally classic-feeling P99 dev-created content, would really be the perfect "classic" server. Others might disagree, but by the time anything like this could even happen they'd have their idea of a perfect "classic" server anyway (Green).
