Worth camping Goblin Gaz Ring?

You can still make xp at the camp at 19.

Do the camp now, for xp, and if you happen to get a GGR then all the better. If you don't get lucky you can always go back to farm it again when it is easier to turn over the PHers.

It is something like a 1% drop off the courier, which makes it really susceptible to the dice:

I spent 12-24 on one toon almost exclusively doing the cycle and saw only one ring drop (about 3 blue away from 25).

Another time I was running my ranger through the lake to help a monk on their epic, the courier popped as I ran past, so I killed it and it had the ring.

Did the camp a while ago. 6 rings in ~63 hours of camping the dual spawn point

My notes below should give a pretty good indikation of the camp.

Sarnak: 14 = 1 ring - 3 hours

Sarnak: 18 = 1 ring - 4 hours

Sarnak: ? = 1 ring - 5 hours

Sarnak: 25 = no ring - 6.5 hours

Sarnak: 24 = no ring - 5.5 hours

Sarnak: 4 = 1 ring - 1 hour

Sarnak: 36 = no ring - 10 hours

Sarnak: 1 = 1 ring - 5 minutes

Sarnak: 11 = no ring - 3 hours

Sarnak: 25 = 1 ring - 4.25 hours

Sarnak: 5 = no ring - 1 hour

Sarnak: 46 = no ring - 9 hours

Sarnak: ? 6 hours = no ring

Sarnak: 4 = no ring - 1.5 hours

Sarnak: 4 = no ring - 1 hour

Sarnak: 3 = no ring - 1 hour

Look for the single spawn point and start now. Exp is decent into the low 20's and it is rarely camped. Less chance for a ring but fairly safe (some roamers but nothing like the dual spawn), I did this with my monk and got my ring just as exp was really slowing down.

There are actually at least 3 single spawns that i know of. I added the /loc of two to the Wiki Page for the Sarnak Courier (thnx to mcoy for pointing me to the one between the big trees [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]).
All in all, i have been camping the Ring now for over 15h last week on a 34 Enchanter, no luck yet.
Adds can be really annoying, especially if you get 2 higher level ones, such as Goblin Soothsayers, at once.
Personally i wouldnt try that camp below lvl 20, probably not even below 24.

Thank you! I used this last night as the double spawn was camped. I got 1 courier after like 10 minutes. Didn't have a ring but I logged happy to know I can camp it if the other spot is taken.
